Welcome to PelletHub, a wood pellet marketplace operated by VP Global Oy (VAT FI-2632862-9) located at Kottaraisenpolku 17 A, 01800 Klaukkala, Finland. By accessing or using our website, www.pellethub.eu, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the PelletHub website and services. By using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.

Definitions

  • "Platform" refers to the PelletHub website and its services.

  • "Buyer" refers to users placing orders for wood pellets through the platform.

  • "Supplier" refers to certified wood pellet producers partnering with PelletHub.

  • "Goods" refers to the wood pellets available for purchase.

  • "DAP" refers to Delivered at Place as per Incoterms 2010.

User Roles

  • Buyers: Currently, the platform is available only to Buyers, who can place orders for wood pellets through the contact/order form.

  • Suppliers: Suppliers will soon be able to post their hot spot deals on the platform.

Account Registration and Use

  • Eligibility: Only registered businesses with a valid VAT number can place orders on the platform.

  • Account Responsibilities: Buyers must ensure the accuracy of all information provided during registration and order placement. Buyers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details.

  • Account Termination: PelletHub reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts if users violate these Terms and Conditions or engage in fraudulent activities.

Order Placement and Fulfillment

  • Order Process: Buyers can place orders for truckloads of wood pellets using the contact/order form on the website. PelletHub will match the order with a suitable Supplier and arrange for shipping.

  • Order Confirmation: Orders will be confirmed by PelletHub, and delivery is expected within two weeks of confirmation.

  • Shipping: All orders are shipped DAP (Delivered at Place) as per Incoterms 2010.

Payment and Fees

  • Payment Methods: Payments are made by invoice. Depending on the Buyer’s credit rating or history (checked via VAT number), payment may be required as a prepayment or post-delivery.

  • Fees: PelletHub charges a fee of approximately €2 per tonne over the wood pellet DAP price.

  • Invoicing: Invoices will be issued upon order confirmation, and payment terms will be specified in the invoice.

Cancellation, Returns, and Refunds

  • Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled up to two days before the scheduled loading.

  • Returns: Returns are accepted if the goods are unused, in their original packaging, and a reclamation is filed within seven days of delivery. PelletHub will cover return expenses only in case of reclamations filed on wood pellet quality, but the Buyer must load the goods onto the truck. Otherwise, the return costs are to be paid by the Buyer. Returns may take up to 30 days to process.

  • Storage of Returns: Until the return is processed, the Buyer is obligated to store the goods in a safe place at their premises and at their own expense.

Intellectual Property

  • Content Ownership: All content on the platform, including text, images, and logos, is the property of VP Global Oy and is protected by intellectual property laws.

  • Licensing: Users may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from the platform without prior written consent from VP Global Oy.

Liability and Disclaimers

  • Platform Liability: PelletHub is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of the platform or the products and services offered. The platform provides no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of product information provided by Suppliers.

  • Indemnification: Buyers agree to indemnify and hold harmless VP Global Oy from any claims or damages arising from their use of the platform.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland.

Amendments

PelletHub reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes via the website or email.

Miscellaneous

  • Force Majeure: PelletHub is not liable for any delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or disruptions in supply chains.

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
